Ambassadors

Gollero ambassadors: the people taking amateur football further, in neighbourhoods and online.

Ambassadors are Gollero on the ground: the people who know the pitches, the teams and the tournaments in their area.

What an ambassador does

An ambassador helps teams in their area get onto the platform, follows their first matches and makes sure the results are recorded while the match is being played.

It is not a full-time job. It is being where you would be anyway — and making sure that neighbourhood tournament gets recorded properly.

What an ambassador can do

On the platform, an ambassador has the promoter role. They run the pickup games: they take the register of who turned up, record goals and assists, pick the player of the match and close the game.

That power has a limit: a promoter never runs a match they are playing in. If they are on one of the teams, the match is run by another promoter or confirmed by the captains.

Every action is recorded with the name of whoever did it.
