FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Gollero: accounts, competitions, payments and more.

The questions we get asked most often. If yours is not here, write to us through the Help page.

Account and profile

Do I have to pay to create an account?
No. Creating an account, having a player profile, joining a team and following competitions is free.
What are G-Coins?
G-Coins are bought with money and can only be spent on Gollero; they cannot be exchanged back. 1 G-Coin = 5 Kz. You use them to pay for everything on the platform — creating a team, entry fees, the shop — and prizes are paid out in G-Coins. You can also get them with gift cards and prizes from playing.
How do I change my details?
On your profile, under “Edit profile”. You can change your name, photo, position, date of birth and nationality.
What is the Card? And Super Cards?
It is your player card. It sums up your season — matches, goals, assists and a rating that changes with every match recorded on the platform. Super Cards are challenge cards: you unlock them with feats on the pitch, like a hat-trick.

Teams

How do I join a team?
Ask the team manager for the invite code and enter it under “Join with a code”. You join straight away as a member.
How do I create my team?
Under “Create my team”. You choose the name, the short name, the colours and the badge — which you can design right on the platform — and you get an invite code for your mates.
Who can manage the squad?
The team owner and the admins. The owner is the one who can make others admins and decides the roles.
Can I change a player’s shirt number?
Yes, in your team’s “Players” tab. Two players cannot have the same number.

Competitions and matches

How do I enter my team into a competition?
On the competition page, if entries are open. Some competitions are free, others have an entry fee set by the organiser.
Who records the goals during the match?
The competition organisers, in live mode, from a phone or computer — never someone playing for one of the teams. In a competition without managers, the owner of one of the teams records it and the result stays unconfirmed until the other team confirms it. Events appear on the site as they are recorded.
Does the log update on its own?
Yes. As soon as a match is marked as finished, the log, recent form and player stats are recalculated.
What happens if a match is postponed?
The organisers mark it as postponed, with the reason, and both teams are notified. Once it gets a new date, it is back to be played; it only counts towards the log after it has been played. A match can also be cancelled (it does not count) or decided by a no-show (3–0 to the team that turned up).

Advertising

How do I get my brand on Gollero?
The ad spaces on the site are open to brands and businesses that want to reach people who play and follow amateur football. Write to us through the Help page, under the topic “Advertising”.
Still have questions?
Write to us: there is a real person from the Gollero team on the other side.
